Kama Boutique Bed & Breakfast- Bangkok, Thailand

Okay, this is one of the best places i've stayed at, ever. Here Hostel in Bangkok was amazing but Kama just....

As I found in most places in Thailand, they love some good interior and here did not disappoint. The exterior had a slight jungle vibe going on with overgrown plants, wooden seating and grass style rugs- a really beautiful open space where you could sit and have a drink or a coffee in the sun, there was a sliding door for the front entrance which was kept open until late in the evening so the outside and the reception were nicely connected, the downstairs reception had tables where people could sit and enjoy breakfast, there was a bar where the reception services also were and then the stairs led up to a platform where there was a computer area for all visitors to use. It was also super handy as it was the only place we stayed at that allowed us to print for free which was handy for our return flight tickets.
One of my favourite things about their interior were these gorgeous lights hanging down from the ceiling in reception, all of their interior was really modern, quirky and cool. I wanted to ask them to decorate my flat, for real.

The other floors that housed all the rooms for guests had hallways that had a complete art gallery vibe, i LOVED it. This was my favourite piece on our floor but there were so many beautiful photographs and paintings all around.

And of course, food. Everyone knows I love my food and my coffee and this place did both things perfectly. They also had beautiful wine glasses that I wanted to steal but we won't go into my weird obsession with wine glasses. We only stayed one night here before we headed home and I wish we could have stayed longer. For breakfast we had pancakes and waffles both with nutella and berries. Soph had a smoothie and I had french press coffee which came in a giant cafetierre all for me!! YAAAAS.

The funniest thing about this place was how we actually very nearly didn't stay here and fled to somewhere else. We flew back to Bangkok from Krabi at the end of our stay and we chose to stay here as a girl I follow on instagram that was travelling round had said how amazing it was. Once we got in our taxi at the airport and told the driver we were staying here, he spent the whole 45 minute taxi ride trying to put us off it. Telling us this was the worst part of Bangkok we could have possibly chosen and that we were certainly going to be robbed at gunpoint. We arrived here completely terrified and immediately asked the girl on reception if it was a good idea, the staff here spoke perfect English and the girl was so confused by the taxi driver and said that it was a family neighbourhood and it was completely safe and it was. It just shows that you don't have to listen to everything that people say, lol.

The rooms were well air-conditioned, the beds were hella comfy. The room also came complete with a bookshelf with a variety of books to choose from and a TV that had sooo many different movies and TV shows to watch, there was also a well stocked mini-fridge and downstairs there were so many helpful leaflets with directions for places worth visiting, tourist information and even takeaway menus.

They had the most incredible rooftop area which had the best view of Bangkok, there was all fairy lights and seating up there and it was so pretty, it would be a lovely place to go and chill and have a beer and I really wish I had had a decent camera with me at the time to take a picture of the view from up there.

I think we paid the equivalent of around £14 for the night for the two of us which is insanely cheap, yes there are places to stay in Thailand for much cheaper but if you want a feel for a nice, luxury stay whilst you're travelling for a super good price, this is definitely the place for you.

Kama was honestly a really amazing place to stay and if you're ever heading to Bangkok, I highly recommend you stay here.
