Positiviteaaaaa

When I came to Uni I was often laughed at for being a bit of a negative Nelly... or as my flatmate nicknamed me "Dramatic Ann" which was probably the most fitting with me doing a Drama and Theatre course and everything...

However these past couple of weeks I have been making it a goal of mine to spread the positive vibes a bit more. My friends Kate and Sophie are two of the most positive people I know and they have been my little inspirations for this challenge!

Anyone that knows me knows my love for the Kardashians, I absolutely love KUWTK and I remember in one of the episodes whilst they were on holiday they were having dinner and they went round the table and asked everyone the 'peak' and the 'pit' of their day. I think this is a really cute idea, so every day I now think of what could be the peak of my day, now matter how big or small. If you had a really good cup of tea and that was a tiny segment of your day, it will still make you feel positive knowing that just that smallest thing put a smile on your beautiful face!

For example...It is now only 11.34am as I type this and the best part of my day was having a bubble bath this morning, flicking through instagram and having a cup of coffee in my crazy cat mug.

Another thing that has made me smile this week is the announcement that John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are having a baby! I absolutely adore Chrissy Teigen, I didn't really know of her until this Summer but once I found her on Instagram and Twitter I became obsessed!
She also has an amazing food blog www.sodelushious.com which you all for sure need to look at!!!

They are the cutest couple and I had read in her issue in the Women's health mag and in many things online that they were struggling to conceive so this is the sweetest news in the world.
She is the kind of celebrity me and my friends can relate to and she isn't afraid to hide that. Her posts on Instagram are the 'eating fried chicken in your sweatpants' kinda pics that we need in our life.

Another thing that made me happy this week is my food package that was sent from Italy! I suppose that must mean I didn't do a terrible job and that my work was appreciated! It was the BEST gift to come home to after a day at University.

I was sent three different kinds of Pasta, gimmeeee all the carbs! A variety of Pestos (pesto is the love of my life), three bags of Pan de Stelle biscotti (if you have tried these then you will understand the need for three bags) and a bag of Baci (baci means kisses in Italian) and these biscuit/cake type things are from a Patisserie in Laegueglia and when you eat them it feels like little angels kissing your face.

Another thing that made me smile this week is lots of Progress at Uni, we all love to feel like we are making progress in life don't we? This semester I am doing two modules- Playwriting and Small scale. My small scale company is called 'Impact' and we had a really successful final design meeting in which me and my partner in crime Sophie had slaved over our set model box and our lecturer loved it, yay! I have also fell in love with Playwriting and I think it has now become a dream of mine to have a published play!

Here is a picture of my sexy, wonderful small scale group!

And last but not least, in fact scrap this being a happy moment of my week...this was possibly one of the BEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE. Last night my housemate's boyfriend had a pug over at his house and they brought it round to meet me because I desperately neeeddddd/want a pug in my life and it was literally the cutest little beansprout you have ever seen.

I hope this pug brings you just as much joy as it brought me.

Now have a good think of what has put a smile on your face this week! And go make yourself a brew...

Pop the kettle on

I decided to change my blog to "Have a brew with Hannah". It seemed like the obvious idea to go with for my blog as I thought maybe instead of ranting and chanting to my friends and people that couldn't really care less what I am going on about I could write it all down on here. No matter how silly it may seem, it feels good to get things off my chest or rather to get all the random thoughts that circle round my head like a choo-choo train out.
Having a brew with me is just like being my online pal. Whenever I see my best friend Sophie it usually involves tea. That might be because that's the only thing that can help dull the searing pain that must go through her head every time I open my gob or it might just be our all-encompassing, undeniable love for a good brew. Whatever it is, I want people to be able to do the same when they read my blog. When they've got a few minutes they can grab themselves a cheeky cuppa and have a gander at what I've got to say for meself.

I'm still getting used to the whole blogging thing so be kind folks. I'm working on it....

Lots of love and brews. Hannah x
