Making a promise to myself that one of my aims in 2017 is to do more blogging and writing, you might all think I'm talking shit but that is actually one of the things I'm best at.
NYC
Tell me there is a better city. If you can find me a better place to fall in love with then I will shake your hand. The whole time I was there I was in complete awe. My dream in life is to be Carrie Bradshaw, a writer living in her cute little New York apartment spending her weekends strolling around the city and drinking Cosmos with her besties. Yes, I want to be a fictional character...
Also I want you all to make it a life goal right NOW to go and see a show on Broadway. RIGHT THIS INSTANT!!
Classics
Performing in my final show at University is something I will never forget, a lot of your work at Uni you take for granted because you feel so drained trying to balance all your studies, your part-time job, your social life, etc, it all gets so hectic you forget to enjoy the moment because you're so focused on your deadlines and when you can fit in the next nap. But for me Classics was such an incredible experience, I had never done Shakespeare before so it was really challenging to say the least and my director was insanely talented. He turned Richard the second into a story based in a female prison- Shakespeare turned OITNB and it was amazing. If I could re-live that show again, I happily would!
Moving into my own place
Call me crazy but I love having my own space, I love being able to sit watching all my favourite shows and not having to worry about people coming in and say I'm hogging the TV, being able to sprawl out on the sofa after a long ass day and not have to move myself for anyone else to squidge on. I love being able to cook what I want when I want, ok you get the picture....I'm not selfish by any means but having the freedom to live for myself by myself and knowing I am capable of looking after myself makes me feel like a strong, independant woman....listening to Beyonce every day also helps.
Graduation
Again, this is another thing I would love to re-live. I always used to look at pictures of people in their graduation caps and gowns and think that I would never be crazy intelligent like them. I would think "wow they are such adults now, they have the world at their feet"- the reality is that and at the same time it really isn't. I felt so proud of myself following Graduation, I had a first class freaking degree!!! But at the same time, it's terrifying, you now have to think for yourself and you're out of the timeline of events you have been handed to since you were little, you now have to explore the world for yourself and choose your own paths. I could not recommend going to Uni enough, it is almost certainly one of the best things I have done.
Buying my cat
Okaaaaay, okaaaaay hear me out people. I was in a relationship with someone for a relatively short period of time when they started talking about a cat they had and how it had died and how sad it had made them and I was like "wow, he must have really liked this cat" so then because he was so sad about it I thought "wouldn't it be cute if he got a new one" so I started showing him how cheap it was to buy a cat because my best friend Sophie had bought a kitten and she was fully obsessed with it and let me tell you her little Jasper is the sassiest little hun on the planet. Then he got really into the idea, like really and since I was staying at his for a couple of weeks while his parents were away we suddenly found ourselves looking at pictures of all the cute kittens available and 24 hours later we were driving to buy one. Long story short, that relationship ended but guess who got the cat? me. Guess who is now a crazy cat lady at the age of 22? me. But let me tell you having a cat changes your life. You are a mom now, but not just any mom, a cat mom. To some people you're gonna look hella cray. But to anyone that has a cat they will understand why you want to take 97 pictures of your cat a day and why you love it SO much. On the plus side my besties are just as obsessed, which makes me feel so much better...and normal. But seriously my cat looks like a baby jaguar....and i love him....
Lots of other things happened in 2016 like getting my first acting agent (eeeek), visiting cool places, eating amazing food but I won't bore you with all of that so for now it's bye huns!!!

Moving into my own place
And what better way to spend the first night in your own place than sat on the floor with your best friend eating chinese food with a bottle of prosecco?
